For their birthday their grandmother gives them a book called: The Land of Stories. Alex magically transports Conner and her into The Land of Stories. They soon realize that they are in the Fairy tail world. They meet fairy tail creatures , but realize that there mom will notice that they are not home. They find a spell called the Wishing Spell. To make the wishing spell you need to gather vary special items, and put then in a special order . Then you get to make a wish. Their wish would be to go back home, or the other world. Read to find out how Conner and Alex Bailey find and get a hold of these items to get back home. What an adventure! If you like them go read more, there are 6 in the series.

An Enjoyable Twist on Classic Fairy Tales submitted by choichr on July 11, 2019, 5:41pm I enjoyed reading this book. It is a fantasy/adventure book with like-able, relatable main characters. The book was interesting to me because it had an interesting perspective on the fairy tale characters that I grew up with. This book also explores ideas of good/evil and the importance of perspective. A fun read!

An Unexpected Adventure submitted by Jelliekim on March 24, 2020, 4:24pm There is a girl named Alex and a boy named Connor. During school, Connor opens a book and then sends them to a whole different world. All the fairy tales from the other world became real. Along the journey they find people they can work with, like along the way they meet a frog. The frog helps them along their adventure. All Connor and Alex want to do is go back home, but in order to do that, the twins must find a spell called the wishing spell. They go all around the place to get the ingredients. They are some stuff that get in their way, but they get pass them. Later in the book they find themselves in a castle. They find a big secret that makes them surprised. This book is one of the best books I have ever read so far. There is very few other books that can be as good as this book. I really encourage you to read this book. The book is pretty easy to read, and there aren't many pictures, usually the pictures are on the chapter page, but the illustrations are still very good! If you really like this book, there is 6 other books in the series. Once you finish the series, you will wish that there are more. I really encourage you to read it, and if you do I hope you enjoy it. If I had to rate it out of 5 stars, I would give 100, if I could. This book is a wonderful book with many adventures and secrets. Once again I really encourage you to read the book. You will never forget this book again, once you read it again!

When the two twins fall into a strange and different but exciting and mysterious place is only the start of their grand adventures from the first chapter of the first boof, and the last chapter of the sixth book. This is a must read for anyone who would sit down with a nice long book for a break. Even if you aren't into reading this book will captivate you and soon you'll want the next book to find out what happens next.

This book hooked me up into reading until i couldn't stop. Chris Colfer took original fairy tales like, The Lost Boys from Peter Pan, Cinderella, and Jack and the Beanstalk (Just to say Some of them) and added his own twist. He brought 2 modern children from the modern world into the old classic tales of the Grimm Brothers. They went on adventure's, fought evil people, and saved the Land of Stories. Chris Colfer changed the behavior of many of the classic fairy tale characters and used his own imagination into adding "his" characters into the story. This will defiantly be a serious i will truly never forget.
