excellent book submitted by Jackie77 on August 12, 2015, 11:01pm Fantastic writing. The book is way better than the movie. This is the firat part of a five part series. Very dark topics. Horrible parenting continues down to the mother who hides her own children awzy in order to get back in good grace with her rich parents. Children in the story make you want to cry. F you enjoy this you would more thsn likely like the rest of the books by V.C. Andrews.

Excellent book submitted by melissahimich on July 14, 2018, 5:12pm Crazy story, but it’s an excellent book.

Flowers in the Attic submitted by a2sue on July 27, 2019, 12:42pm Flowers in the Attic is a very imaginative, yet quite disturbing novel. V.C. Andrews was an excellent storyteller and I treasure everything of hers that I've had the privilege to read.

Tragic, crazy, uncomfortable submitted by blancharddana on June 29, 2022, 8:27am A very disturbing story, but I couldn't put it down.

Uncomfortable and definitely campy but really enthralling submitted by stellafio on July 10, 2022, 3:40pm The book is super dramatic and definitely resembles a soap opera in some ways but its really intense and a good read. I enjoyed it even though I was uncomfortable so many times while reading it.
