Beginning good submitted by unknown on July 20, 2014, 8:56pm I usually Love Ishiguro's work and I did for the first 2/3rds of the book. The final third seems so rushed and poorly planned out that I found it hard to get through. The first part dives into interesting themes like childhood relationships between friends and parents that I think any reader can relate to. However the end seems hasty as if he was just trying to get it over with. I recommend this book but not before many of his other works.
