Better than expected submitted by mrajraspn08 on June 19, 2014, 12:44pm I didn't much care for Dani O'Malley in the Fever series, so I wasn't expecting much from this spin-off. However, Dani manages to stand firmly on her own. This story takes place after the final Fever book, which is appropriate considering the events of the finale. Readers get to see an apocalyptic world through Dani's eyes, a girl learning about love and sexuality while also dealing with betrayals, family, and superpowers. An excellent addition to Moning's world.
