I've always enjoyed Alice Waters' approach to food. Fresh, simple, local.
In this book, she focuses on techniques - spotlighting chefs from across America.
Roasted Tomato Salsa with Rick Bayless, David Chang's Salt and Sugar Pickles, Potatoes Gratin from Deborah Madison. There's something for everyone.
Teaching good techniques, nothing is out of reach. Tasty, simple recipes, and excellent photos.
