Entertaining, but not deep submitted by kittenkat101 on June 18, 2011, 11:24am An entertaining account of characters from the Black Jewels Trilogy. Surreal and Prince Rainer find themselves in a haunted house. It was nice to see familiar characters such as Lucivar, Marian, Jaenelle, and Daemon, but sometimes their interludes played more like a distraction than a development in the plot. The book was a fun read, but had nowhere near the depth of the original three novels. I would recommend it so long as you have read the Black jewels trilogy and are ok with a less grand plot.
