COMMUNITY REVIEWS
Fascinating look at women's work submitted by tuttlium on June 11, 2023, 2:44pm When spinning and weaving cloth became industrialized, a tremendous amount of knowledge about how to produce textiles was lost from the general public. This book looks largely at the textile work that women have historically carried out, and discusses the archaeological and other kinds of evidence for that work. I learned something on every page. Highly recommended!
