First in Series submitted by kathscot on July 14, 2019, 2:19pm A good basis for a series with the Charleston setting part of the charm. Well written and has a nice pace with an occasional shift in point of view which is also interesting.

Cute submitted by Beatlesfan04 on June 24, 2022, 3:36pm I didn't realize it was the first in a long series. A friend lent me the book. It was cute, and a good cozy. It's an older cozy, so the tropes don't feel as canned and tired yet. The tea shop is a cute setting. It definitely feels a bit like an older lady writing it, but I expect that with many cozies. Especially older ones.
