read in two evenings, funny and thoughtful

This was borrowed for my tween but the premise looked interesting enough that I borrowed it. I found it entertaining and absorbing, reading it quickly in just two evenings. The themes are honesty/integrity. Readers who moved frequently and had to adapt to new school environments may identify with the plight of the main character.
The author did a great job in creating an authentic character.
