COMMUNITY REVIEWS
Autumn in New England submitted by FordAlpha on July 29, 2023, 9:08pm "The Fox" was my favorite folk song growing up, and Peter Spier's illustrations are breathtakingly beautiful. They evoke the atmosphere of autumn in New England so thoroughly that I almost smell the wood smoke and feel the crunch of leaves. There's humor too in the depiction of the fox's family upon his return. Don't read this to your kids if you object to stories in which the hero steals and eats poultry.
