Great Biography of a Great Man submitted by Jan Wolter on July 7, 2013, 7:53pm I really enjoyed this three-volume biography of Theodore Roosevelt. He was an amazing guy, an adventurer, a politician, a warrior and a peacemaker. When an assassin shot him in the chest, he refused to go to a hospital, and instead proceeded to give the campaign speech he had scheduled, starting by saying "It takes more than this to stop a bull moose!" and then continuing to talk for two hours as blood seeped down his shirt. They don't make presidents like that anymore. In fact, they only ever made one, and his life story is just one amazing incident after another, and this series of books does a wonderful job of telling the tale.

Bully! submitted by amy on July 17, 2014, 3:09pm Part 1 of a trilogy, this wonderfully written biography only covers Roosevelt's life prior to becoming president in his mid 40s, but by the end of it he's already lived a full and remarkable life.
