The healthcare industry is undergoing a period of dramatic change due to mounting challenges such as increasing healthcare costs, reimbursement pressures and demographic changes. With change comes the opportunity for innovative solutions that make a real difference. Dr. James Geiger, Exec. Director of the Medical Innovation Center at the University of Michigan and the 2008/09 class of Innovation Fellows will discuss the development of new medical technologies that improve health care and services.
