A private reception was given by AADL to welcome Boris Palmer, the mayor of Ann Arbor's Sister City of Tübingen, Germany, and a delegation of 29 Tübingen citizens. The delegation visited Ann Arbor to learn more about our city's endeavors in environmental politics and continue support for artists' exchanges between the two cities. Mayor Palmer has initiated an unprecedented climate protection campaign at the local level. At an AADL public event on Tuesday, May 13, he gave a presentation outlining his climate protection campaign.
Depression During Childbearing Years
As many as one in five women may experience depression in their childbearing years, both during their pregnancies and into their children’s early years. Kate Rosenblum, Ph.D., Director of the Women & Infants Mental Health Program at the University of Michigan will lead this session on the latest research on perinatal depression, including strategies for prevention, intervention, and raising resilient children. There will also be a panel discussion with plenty of time for questions and answers from the audience at 7 pm on Tuesday, February 3 at the Downtown Library.
