How 'It' Looked: This drawing of one of the unidentified flying objects reported over Dexter Township last night was made by Sheriff's Cpl. David B. Severance from descriptions provided by a half-dozen deputies and area residents. All witnesses generally agreed on the shape and size of the objects and on the colored lights which appeared on them.

Main St. "Mall": Part of a 40-foot ferris wheel and merry-go-round placed on S. Main St. between William and Liberty Sts. can be seen in this picture taken prior to the start of Bargain Days today, a two-day annual merchandise sales event. Thirteen carnival-type rides along S. Main and N. University Ave., which have been closed to traffic along with S. State St., are attractions at this year's Bargain Days.

Bel Air Kar Wash: A grand opening is set this weekend at the new, $125,000 Bel Air Kar Wash firm of 633 S. Main St., which recently opened for business. The interior view shows the conveyor which pulls cars through automatic washing and rinsing cycles in two minutes. The large brushes quickly clean away dirt on cars' sides and top. The new firm is owned by Ronald E. Mitchell of Ypsilanti, who employs 25. Mitchell said his automatic equipment will wash a maximum of 170 cars per hour.

(1) New Look: The reception room of Dr. D. B. Heatherington's new oral surgery clinic at 2355 E. Stadium Blvd. includes furniture from Sweden, cork tile floors and plenty of light. Music is piped into all rooms. (2) Fully Eqquipped: This is the largest of five rooms in this clinic. It's fully equipped. (3) Into the suburbs: Medical clinics, such as this, are being built in the suburbs in growing numbers. The brick with redwood and aluminum trim blends with the surroundings. (4) Central Service: The central service room here, almost like a corridor in design, includes all necessary equipment and is near all operating rooms.

SITE OF THEATRE HERE: A new indoor theater will be built on the site of the Swiss Garment Cleaning Co. of 210 S. Fifth Ave. The property, which is within the downtown, is between the Salvation Army citadel to the right of the picture and Fischer's Pharmacy beyond the left of the picture. Size and other details are to be announced.
