The old English custom of ending the holidays with a Twelfth-night party on the eve of the celebration of Epiphany (Jan. 6) is annually revived by the Charles Millers of Linda Vista. Mr. Miller is in charge of the bowl of steaming Wassail placed in front of the roaring yule log fire. He reheats the drink by plunging in stones that have been heated in an ancient iron skillet hung over the fire.
