I'm a fan of the early 70's Coop, and as so I've always wanted to hear the first album and now I'm glad I never did. The first effort is so disjointed and without direction, that it's amazing when you hear the second album Easy Action, which starts to give you a preview of coming attractions with references to West Side Story, a subject brought up again later on Schools Out. So listen to this and wonder at the jump made from this to Easy Action to Love it to Death,Killer,Schools Out,Billion Dollar Babies and finally Muscle of Love which for me is the last album, I know Welcome to my Nightmare is liked by many, it was a little too soft and schlocky for me, to each their own.
