Little Brother is disturbing. It's disturbing in the truest sense of the word, meaning that it disturbs your complacency, disturbs your views of morality and patriotism, of who the good guys and bad guys are. To be honest, this book scared me a little bit. Its view of the abuse of government has a lot in common with 1984, and a lot more in common with sobering real-life examples of police states. I can't say this is a great book to read if you want the warm fuzzies, but it seems important. Urgent even. Read for yourself and decide.
