This book was a lot of fun to read, for multiple reasons. First and foremost, it revisited the characters and the world that had been built up in the first Hunger Games book. But it did more than just revisit them--it built on them in new ways. It was interesting to watch Katniss evolve over the course of the story as she struggled with nightmares and the terror of the arena that had never really left her. It was also interesting to read about previous and new Hunger Games--not just the previous one, but the one featured in this book, as well as one from twenty-five years ago, when Haymitch won. The story was just as good as the first one. If you liked The Hunger Games, don't miss this!
