I really enjoyed this series. To be honest, I thought this last book dragged a little in the middle, though I can see that the author wanted to get more serious with the war story. She has said that she writes "fiction about war for adolescents," and I think she does an excellent job of it, too. She conveys the devastation and senseless tragedy in a way that I think will hit home with young readers. I did get a little tired with Katniss' seemingly endless series of injuries/recoveries, but I did like how the story ended overall. A good ending to a great series!
