Sad but Great

This book was very sad and touching for me, and I'm sure it will be for all age groups who are old enough to know about the tragedies of World War II. It describes the life of a girl whose mother gives her to a foster family to take care of. At first she struggles at being with her new family, she eventually fits in and lives a somewhat normal life. However, things begin to change and take a turn for the worse... This is a very emotional book, but it is very fitting to be used in book groups at school. Many teachers recommend this book, and I do too.
