This is a fantastic series. It is so interesting to see things from the servants' perspective. I am currently reading "Cakes and Ale" by W. Somerset Maugham and the parallels are fascinating.
Notables in Ann Arbor
With as beautiful as Ann Arbor is in all seasons, it’s no wonder that it has inspired writers almost since it was incorporated. Local Historian Dale Leslie will share more information about some of the writers who chose to spend time in Ann Arbor. He'll show many photos of the places where writers like Arthur Miller, Betty Smith, Robert Frost, and more lived while they were in Ann Arbor, and information about each of their careers and lives. This fascinating photo lecture will begin at 7 pm on Tuesday, April 28 in the Downtown Library’s Multi-Purpose Room.
