Even this past weekend I had an argument with someone about a track on this seminal blues rock record, released in 1972. My side: Tumblin' Dice's opening bars are some of the coolest moments in rock history and they open up all that's best about the Stones' sound in just a few short minutes. His side: "what, you mean the "Tony the Tiger song?" Obviously, he knew the Stones never put Tony the Tiger into their chorus, but I was derailed. Some people just won't ever concede that this is their best album. It's too bad they're wrong.
