James McAvoy and Maggie Smith are always brilliant, and Anne Hathaway isn't bad either. Austen fans will love this movie, as it brings the period to life with a beautiful imagining of what Jane's love life may have been. It's not quite as prim as Austen's writing, but it definitely still has her flavor.
