If you want to watch a happy uplifting movie this is not it. That being said I think it was well done and worth watching. I watched this movie for a history of furniture and interiors class. I'm not an expert but I was looking for mistakes and the design, furniture and even the costumes looked spot on to me. They actually filmed on location instead of in a studio in order to have a seamless transition between inside and outside the house. Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet did an awesome job at bringing their characters to life.
