Wasn't sure I would be into this book before I read it - I don't typically read mystery-like stories - but it became such a worldwide phenomenon that I decided to give it a chance. I had checked it out sometime last year, fully intending to read it, but put it off. When I heard about the film coming out recently, I knew I really had to give it a shot. I'm glad I did. Dark family secrets and intrigue, a setting in Sweden, and a strong female character who I really liked. There's a couple things about the story I would change - but overall I really had fun reading this one. It's a tough one to put down! Looking forward to the next two books in the trilogy.
