Not completely bad

This is a mediocre film about the interconnectedness of human events. One tragedy is linked to another creating a circular story of loss. This is normally a fun and interesting style of story telling (such as in Pulp Fiction and Babel), except this particular plotline is dull without any wide ranging meaning outside of one thing: people do things to help those they care about, and sometimes those actions have dark consequences. However, the acting is believable and it stars the late Patrick Swayze, which makes it acceptable.
