I was prepared to dislike this documentary, but I actually enjoyed it. My omnivore status passed through it unscathed, however.

One of the parts I felt was least convincing, and a bit cheap, was the mother whose young son died of E.coli poisoning from an under-cooked hamburger. Obviously companies should be careful about their meat, but everyone should know that children should not be fed raw meat since they're highly susceptible to the risks of food-borne illness. That said, we live in an era when meat is unbelievably safe, partially due to the methods the movie tries to disgust you with (treating the beef with chemicals to kill bacteria), so that bit was somewhat contradictory.
