I'm getting tired of these books about girls getting attacked and you know about it at the beginning, but they don't tell you all of it until the end. I liked it best when it caught up with current time and stopped flashing back.
The author does a great job of describing the characters and their relationships. The relationships between the siblings was great, and the description of the main character's first crush/date takes me back!
Even though it's fiction, I'm sure there's a lot of truth to what this girl goes through. I liked that it was in small, poem-type sections. Wonderful read and quick!
I liked how they broached the subject of bossiness and how friends should treat each other.
Julian has quite an imagination and uses it to tease his brother. I like the imaginative thinking and I would love to read this to my niece and nephew.
