Welcome To the Hellmouth/Harvest- these two originally aired as a two part event. They were great introducing the characters. Even years and seasons later, it still holds up to later episodes. It's a really great pilot.
Witch- this episode wasn't that good. It was much like the rest of season 1, going with the monster-of-the-week theme. The twist was interesting, though. And Amy's a lot better character than she is later in the show.
Teacher's Pet- this is one of my all time least favorite Buffy episodes. It takes an okay theme and makes it rather horrible. And it's just creepy in a bad way.
If these episodes turn you off from the series, just wait. Seasons two and three are some of the best the show has to offer, and four, five, and six aren't too shabby either. I'm just going to keep quiet about seven.
This movie is so perfect! It's wonderfully acted and really hilarious. The singing was really good, too. I guarantee that you'll like it.
This novel was amazing. I love Kingsolver's prose and style. The plot was intriguing, and Taylor's voice was unique and interesting. I definitely wish to read the sequel. Definitely recommended.
This book was a lot better than I expected. Usually, I find myself not enjoying novels I read for school. But this one was amazing. Angelou's prose is beautiful, and I fell in love with Maya. This definitely has me considering reading the next book.
This book was interesting. It was well-written. The story was intriguing. But I didn't like either of the main characters. Mandy was annoyingly naive, and Jill was just not a pleasant person to read about. I get the idea of role-reversal adding a different aspect to the story, (usually, the poorer girl is the angry, pissed at the world one, and the richer girl is sweet and nice and a bit naive) but it felt like the author was trying too hard. Definitely an interesting read.
