Even from the ending it isn't very clear what happened in this mystery. Very slow paced. You endure through a lot of the main characters thoughts that really don't amount to anything. There is no way I am reading the second book in this series.
I really enjoyed this Cherry Ames book because the mystery she helps solve is actually related to nursing. In most of the books the mystery is not even related to nursing at all other than that she comes across the mystery while acting as a nurse. This was much more interesting to me from a nursing/medical perspective.
This was a fun movie for my young children and they really enjoyed it. I thought the movie segment of Morris Has a Cold was great and a good way to teach kids about germs and trying to keep germs from spreading in an informative way but it is also really funny.
This is the first book in the Cherry Ames series. In this book Cherry starts off by being a student nurse at Spencer Hopsital. It is grueling work to get your Nursing certificate.
Cherry Ames is at it again. This time she is solving a mystery in the department store in New York City where she works. Of course there is a dashing young man in the book too.
