This is book so cool that is hard to put it down. I am amazed by the ideas that come together in this story.
The suspense is great and I cannot wait for the next book in this series.
I rate it very near 5 stars.
Palestinian farmer Emad Burnat bought his first camera in 2005 to record the birth of his youngest son. As he filmed his son, growing from newborn baby into a young boy, Emad's video camera, and a succession of later cameras, were violently destroyed over five years of turmoil..
5 Broken Cameras, the first-ever Palestinian film nominated for an Oscar for Best Documentary Feature, is a deeply personal, first-hand account of life and non-violent resistance in a West Bank village. It will be screened at the Downtown Library on Tuesday December 10 at 7:00 pm.
