This is one of my favorite books. James Baldwin really delves into the homosexuality of an American writer in Paris, in a beautifully written exploration of a then-scandalous affair with an Italian bartender named Giovanni. This is not only a vividly painful and personal reflection of his own sexuality but a extremely intriguing way to discuss the "American in Paris" phenomenon that was taking place at the time.

I love this book. Egger's imaginative, energetic style sucked me in, as usual, but the uniquely-detailed, deeply personal aspects of this memoir kept me absolutely glued to the page.
This book rocks

I love the Avett Brothers. They have a great, rolling, bluegrass-y sound on CD, and fantastic-ly high energy in concert.

Drew Karpyshyn has a great, cinematic, action-oriented style of writing that captures the true nature of the Dark Side. I wasn't sure what to expect when I started reading (to appease my boyfriend's Star Wars infatuation), but I was happily surprised. Karpyshyn paints the scenes of Sith malice and betrayal with a charisma that draws you into the world of the Force.
