did a book report on this. Palestinians and Israelis can get along, they just need respect and patience.
the plot was alright, but the ending left a lot unanswered. sequel is to come out fall 2013 though, so maybe more about the secret societies and sophie's past will be explained.
i first heard this book as a 2nd grader when the teacher read it to our class. we loved it, and hated when she would stop at a cliff hanger. this is a really funny book and i still read it once in a while.
