Show and Tell for Grown-ups
In elementary school, Show and Tell day was the best! We got to bring our favorite things to school, and tell the whole class what was so special about our treaasures. Why should kids have all the fun? Show and Tell For Grown-ups is sweeping the nation, and it’s coming to AADL! Bring a treasure – an old photo or letter, a family heirloom, a souvenir, something you made – and tell us the story behind it. We’ll even create a short video of you telling your item’s story and share it on our website. Attendees are also welcome to listen and enjoy others’ stories. Stories will begin at 6:30 pm on Tuesday, May 5 at the Malletts Creek Branch.
Find out about all of the library's fun stuff for kids with AADL's parent page! JUMP is your stop to find recommended stuff for kids and learn about upcoming library events. Parents can also get information to plan their visit to the library an even find out about resources to help kids with their homework. It's all at jump.aadl.org!
