In 2014 is is hard to believe how often a skyjacking would occur during the early 1970's. There was a romantic notion that skyjacking an airplane was the thing to do to get publicity for ones political views. This book is a gripping history of that era concentrating on the hijacking of a Western Airlines flight 701 in which a disgruntled Vietnam vet takes his wild flight and eventually becomes a political hero of sorts in France.
The old John Grisham is back with riveting courtroom drama
A very compelling historical fiction of the Real life Grimke sisters who were one of America's first abolitionists. Recommended for all readers
It took me a while to get into this book but I am happy that I stuck with it. The cast of quirky, eccentric characters made it really worth it.
Fascinating peek into a very private world
