This film is a great movie if you're looking for a good time. Jack Nicholson is absolutely fantastic as the Devil with his off the walls acting style and energy. If you love Jack Nicholson as I do you will certainly love this movie, if not you'll probably get sick of him.
Great movie, one of my favorites. However it is not a library credit error. Brad Pitt's name is right next to Graham King because, like King, Pitt is a producer for this film. Plan B Entertainment is a production company founded by Brad Pitt.
The case could be made that this is the best Batman movie of the Nolan trilogy. Regardless if you like Dark Knight better I think everyone can agree this is a great trilogy. Easily the best superhero trilogy and a very fitting ending for it all.
I hoped for a lot when I watched this movie, maybe my expectations were too high. Regardless I felt slighted at the end of this movie. Every plot point is put in there so that they can show off fancy visual effect. It felt more like a Transformers movie where everyone argues how they'll be the one to save the planet then they realize they need each other and start to work together. I can tell you as a huge fan of action movies as well as comic books that this movie that this movie perpetuates why the comic book genre of movies is not as respected. Marvel had some great things going with Iron Man but has dropped the ball on subsequent movies since. I know a lot of people will enjoy this movie and they should because it is a fun movie. However to me it was like eating the frosting without the cake. There just wasn't any substance to it.
A good X-Men movie with a pretty good cast overall. Jackman couldn't be better for the role of Wolverine. Great actors like McKellen and Stewart bring a lot to the table as Magneto and Professor X. Great choices in casting don't make up for the fairly bland storyline.
