I started read Dickens novels because of a challenge from my dad: kids from my generation cannot stay still for long enough to read these books. I started with Great Expectations and slowly went through the first few chapters when I started to like the story and soon finished the book. Now I am reading Dickens novels one by one and so far they are all great.
I remember this was the first Doctor Who episode I ever watched. I also remember that it scared the living daylights out of me and gave me nightmares for nights to come. I don't find it quite that scary anymore.
Like ompopp I got this book because of Treasure Quest. It did not take long before my eyes were glued to the pages causing me to stay up till midnight. On this sleepy morning I ended up feeling both sad that the story was over and glad that I would no longer be prevented from doing anything else. Now I can only think to myself: if only the OASIS were real!
I must have watched this movie twenty times when it first came out. Though I loved it, it somehow gave me nightmares.
I remember watching the trailer in the movie theatre and wanting to watch it but I never got to watching it until I finally put it on hold. It was not as good as I had expected but as a family movie I would definitely suggest it!
