I'm pretty sure that David Ellis did most of the writing on this one - it's too good for James Patterson! There was a twist at the end that I didn't see coming, but made perfect sense. A good read.
I actually fell asleep reading this book - it was too good to put down. I was trying to figure out what had happened right from page one. The ending was surprising, but very believable.
I read "Additional Details" above. There was no aunt, no niece, no college essays, and no murdered grandparent. No idea why that's posted. It's about a missing swindler.
This movie implies that her earlier behavior was reckless. It seems at least equally reckless to go on this trek without adequate preparation.
The first part was just boring. The end seemed to make excuses for racism.
