It was okay

A lot of recipes were ones I already had in another cooking light book with slight variations so it was really a lot of repeats. I did like all the pictures and in some cases there were pictures of recipes that my other books did not have pics of. The recipes I have made have been very good and I will probably not check the book out again or buy it.
Not so great

I was excited to get this book, but then none of the recipes were that great. I only tried one and it was very bland. I really wasn't moved to try anything else in the book. A lot of the recipes were similar to other ones I have in larger cookbooks and that may be why it was not appealing to me.
Nice collection

My ten year old was really into reading these after the movie came out. I like it because it puts three tales in one book and he is also reading stuff a little above his reading level so it makes him ask or look words up he doesn't understand. Great collection in one book. You can also get all of these books for free on your kindle through amazon.

My kids loved this book when we had it form the library. They have made five or six projects form it and we wrote down some of the others we wanted to try. I think we might order the book just to have it for our own use because the kids liked it so much, so check it out.

I really liked learning about the real people that lived in the past. Most of the time history is all about the rulers, leaders, and armies of history, or the technology. This set of lectures talks about the everyday people that lived in the past. It is great because most of the people that will watch these lectures, especially from libraries, are everyday people from out time period and we get to see our counterparts in the past. I liked the fact that the guy giving the lectures was also very passionate about what he was teaching. Great Stuff.
