This is the first time I've read True Crime. I was amazed that a factual account can be written with such detail and so many perspectives while creating a book that has great cohesion. It was very suspenseful. I couldn't put it down.
'The Giver' is a really fast read. It moves at a great pace with no dull parts. I wish it could have been more adult!
This book sucks you right in and slows down toward its inevitable end.
The first half of this book reads just like a novel. It slows down quite a bit for the second half. If anything, the whole book is a very interesting examination of George's life philosophy.
I read 'Slaughterhouse Five' and then this. This author is tremendous. It is more sophisticated than 'Slaugherhouse Five' which gives it a totally different style and rhythm.
