The kids and I like listening to this while driving around town.

Makes the ride to school with the kids more enjoyable.

I was a little worried about the message in this story as Pearl exhibits some Mean Girl traits right before she begins skating on her new ice skates. But the new and slightly different skates are harder than her older ones and she is humbled after losing her balance more than a few times on the ice. Luckily she has a wise and patient uncle who makes a suggestion to practice skating early in the morning before anyone else is at the pond. My son enjoyed the book and listened to the entire book.

I read this to my kids and they loved the story and the cute drawings. We thought it was adorable when Jules goes on a trip around the world to fulfill his hug bucket list. The message is simple and a sweet and at the end of the book we gave each other hugs.

My 4 year old and i were entertained by the funny story.
