The traditional "Big Bad Wolf" finally gets a fair shake in this role-reversal fable. The three GOOD wolves strive to build a sturdy house that will withstand the fabulously creative destructiveness of the Big Bad Pig.

It was not our traditional approach to bedtime stories, but my husband was out of town and, finding Trivizas and Oxenbury's book in a local bookstore, read it to our 2 and 3 year olds over Skype. It was an instant hit. With every new picture, our daughter enthusiastically squealed out "Bad PIGGG!" The book is delightful for the children and a great laugh for the adults who understand the parody. Our family gives it four thumbs up.

Funny and suspenseful plot surrounding some animal friends that fail to return from their mission to retrieve a ball. My two and three year olds constantly reach for this book when it comes to story time. It was an instant favorite from the first time I read it to them.
