The movie didn't live up to its expectations. The storyline was pretty much the same, where Alex Rider battles against Darrius Sayle (a madman looking for world domination) as a recruit of the MI6. The movie has only a few number of action scenes to look forward to.
The book tells the story of a normal teenager who has to deal with a lot of pressure and fight to control his interpersonal relationships.
I would recommend this book to anyone who has an interest in reading action, thriller books. The story follows James Bond in his younger years as he fights against a power hungry Count Ugo Carnifex, who hires pirates to steal valuable paintings and artifacts.
This book is basically like a thriller. I would recommend it to anyone who has read Alex Rider. The story follows a Young James Bond as he investigates the disappearance of Alfie Kelly, which later links to Lord Randolph Hellebore who is plotting to take over the world.
Looking for Alaska was a really moving, and emotional story as it is about a boy who gets stuck in boarding school and falls in love with a girl, named Alaska, who drinks excessively and smokes cigarettes. The story is pretty explicit but conveys a positive message nonetheless.
