I expected to read about one woman's experience trying to be happier. In that, the book succeeded. While her project may not have been "perfect," the book made me think about my habits and moods, so I would recommend it. It made me want to try and be happier, even though I will go about it in an entirely different way. I can see how this book might be frustrating or problematic for someone who feels that things are seriously going wrong in their life, so I would recommend it to be read as an encouragement to reflect on the things you can control, and not as a guidebook of habits.
Not your typical sitcom, Malcolm's family struggles to get along. The characters are funny and the storylines are inventive.
These songs are wonderful!
This is one of my favorite classic Disney movies. Aurora's movements were based on a ballerina, and the entire movie is elegant. It does contain scary elements (dragons, battle sequence), so I would not recommend for very young children.
This is a great movie! Boys, girls, and adults can all find something to enjoy. Frozen undermines the traditional Disney fairytale of girl meets and marries boy. The only downside is that the songs are so catchy that young children seem physically unable to stop singing them.
