This book is worth rereading again and again. I love Sophie and her crabbiness. I just sort of adore this book. That is all.
This book is creepy. Not as creepy as Unwind, but not as interesting either. It's not terrifying, but it's definitely unnerving. I wouldn't recommend it, but I prefer adventure or warm and fuzzy novels.
Unlike the rest of the Weetzie Bat books, this is in prose. It's also slightly less magical.
The whole "prince" concept in these books is fascinating and scary. I loved the adventure and competition that filled the middle of the book, but I was disappointed with the ending and how the story wrapped up.
I'm currently looking for my perfect magazine. I want stories that interest me, some fashion and beauty advice, and a fresh perspective. This is not my favorite. While the advice it gives is solid, and I really like the fashion advice column, most of the magazine is articles of clothing from different designers and their prices. I want style advice, not go-buy-this advice, especially when most of the stuff is hundreds of dollars.
