Delicious!

My 6 year old son loves ghosts and spooky stories, so I checked this book out for him. It has a very cute and well told story. At the end of the book there is a recipe for Ghost-Pleasing Chocolate Cake, which is something that the main character in the book makes for her bakery. We tried out the recipe today and it is so moist and delicious. Great book and a great read!

This book had some excellent illustrations. The story is fun and imaginative, but the illustrations really shined.
Austen lover

Little is known about Jane Austen as a person, but what is known is packed into this biography. Sometimes biographies are boring and just lists of facts, this one is really well written, has fun and interesting footnotes, and really explains why Jane wrote what she did. My heart broke for Miss Austen at every page.
Incredible!

Imagine not knowing who people are by looking at them. Even family members, significant others, neighbors, coworkers... life would be so confusing, scary, and embarrassing. Not only did this woman have to face (no pun intended) prosopagnosia, but she had to grow up with a family akin to the Glass Castle by Jeanette Walls. A very moving and interesting read.
Memorable memoir

This memoir was so well written and fascinating that I couldn't put it down. The author's family history was tragic and compelling. Reading about how much Iran changed over such a short period time was very eye-opening, especially from a woman's point of view.
