slow entry, but great overall

It took a few tries for me to get into this book. I read Jhumpa Lahiri for the ways in which she writes about families and relationships. The history was a bit overwhelming at times, especially because it is not something with which I am familiar.
I enjoyed the non-linear approach to showing the characters' motivations and reasoning.

Our least favorite of the tinker bell movies. Did not keep my 4 yr old's attention.

Reading this book felt like reading the diary of a woman who is just a few steps ahead of me on the mothering/woman journey. The book is full of wisdom and practical advice about mothering, moving into the next chapter, stepping out of one's comfort zone, and finding what truly makes one's heart sing. It also speaks to the challenges one may face in a marriage/partnership at the end of the day-to-day parenting phase. This is a book to be savored.
