Before starting this people described it to me as nostalgic but it's so much more than that. You'll find yourself putting holds on the music and movies sprinkled throughout the book to relive it all (if you were lucky enough to be alive in the 1980's).Very cool!
This is directed towards younger people that enjoy a little bit of sci-fi. This is pretty much a good book for someone BRAND NEW to science fiction, but no one else should read it. Definitely for the 8-10 year old age set.
A good read about world religions and how they've interacted historically and today.
This was an odd book. I hated the main character, her sister, her brother, and her dad. And I hated the writing style. But, the story did a great job of creating a mystery and very slowly shining light on its secrets. Even though it was difficult to get through I couldn't put it down because I wanted to know what happened to Faith. That says something, so it wasn't a total waste.
