Good book with interviews of children who lived through the Holocaust. May be upsetting to some readers but well done and moving.
This book is ok but it could be called "101 about University of Michigan football." It felt to me that almost all of the entries were about the U of M sports teams, so I was a little dissapointed.
Winner of the Printz award, this book is touching and beautiful. It's delicately written and the language paints a wonderful portrait of love.
This is an informative and well written book. It kept my attention and I learned a lot from it. However, there are some fairly graphic photos of murder scenes that might scare younger children. Bodies are shown covered in sheets, but it's still a little creepy.
This is a wonderful book for all ages, but especially for children who want adventure fiction. It's particularly note-worthy as it has a female heroine who is smart and bold. Kids (and adults!) will be interested to know that it is based on a true story. Check it out: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Juana_Maria
