Mrs. Nielsen has a compelling, inspirational story. She is honest in her grief and recovery, and her story is a message of hope for anyone who needs to know that God never fails us.
I wasn't sure what to expect from this movie - it was extremely intense and more than a bit disturbing. I was heartened by the role of the mom, and how she knew and loved her son so well and so much that she, in essence, accompanied him on his quest without telling him so, as she knew he needed to do it for himself.
Not her best work - I liked her other books better.
Not the same as Austen, but it picks up the characters and continues the legacy...
This is the quintessential movie version of the book. Excellent!
